Equetech once again held their now annual ‘Canter for a Cure™’ sponsored ride to raise funds for Cancer Research UK’s breast cancer programme. Over the last two years the event has raised over £25,000, providing invaulable funds for the research into the treatment, cure and even prevention of breast cancer. This year was a complete success, raising over £12,000 for the charity! A massive congratulations to Equetech and everyone that took part, looks like you guys were definitely THINKING PINK! The garments are integrated with d3o™ shock absorbing material containing ‘Intelligent Molecules’. When moved slowly the molecules inside d3o™ are free flowing making the material is soft and flexible, whereas at high speeds - for example at the point of impact - the molecules lock together to provide excellent shock absorption. The new Equetech Intelligent Competition Shirt contains d3o™ 7mm components, invisible beneath your jacket, positioned in the shoulders in the shirt to protect the rider’s shoulders from impacts with the ground and other objects reducing the likelihood of injury to this area, the collarbone and joints. Fully compatible with conventional stocks it results in a highly technical and innovative competition shirt, invisible beneath your jacket. The Intelligent Breeches similarly contain d3o™ components in the lower back and coccyx region to reduce the likelihood of injury to this area. The integration of d3o™ components provides complete freedom of movement in synergy with exceptional protection as a result of its unique molecular structure minimising and spreading pressure transmitted during impact. d3o™ is also breathable for increased comfort, and integrated to be invisible and unlimiting. Superbly cut and styled with attention to detail and fit, the breeches contain several other features including a stretch Daewoo suede seat, zip fly, double stud fastening, Equetech embroidery and fob at the waistband, belt loops, Equetech comfort waistband and Velcro binding at hem. The shirt likewise is highly designed; virtually seam-free with woven sections in optimum positions to create ultimate stretch, breathability and shape retention to allow complete freedom of movement. Both garments are machine washable.
